ICONIC MEMPHIS LANDMARK FOR SALE

MEMPHIS, TN (December 18, 2020) — Bryant’s Breakfast (Bryant’s), an award-winning* eatery that has been a culinary staple of the Mid-South for 52 years, is for sale. Phil Bryant, owner and son of founder Jimmy Bryant, considers this an enormous opportunity for the person who decides to buy the establishment. The Pickler Law Firm, located in Collierville, Tennessee, has been given the opportunity to preserve this Memphis institution and is handling the sale of the business.

“It has been a unique privilege to run the Bryant’s establishment for so long,” said Bryant. “While this was a tough decision to make, we believe this is the best choice for my family, the restaurant, and our amazing patrons. I look forward to seeing Bryant’s serve Memphians for many more years to come.”

Jimmy and Jane Bryant opened the restaurant in the Parkway Village area in 1968. Nine years later, the restaurant moved to its current location on Summer Avenue. Starting as a small BBQ joint, huge success was found when their now-famous breakfast menu was introduced. To this day, Bryant’s continues to make every biscuit by hand, a labor-intensive – yet rewarding – process.

Bryant’s website and social media show notifications that they are temporarily closed. While this momentary closure was a response to COVID and public safety, Phil has also been considering the sale of the restaurant for quite some time. Attorney David Pickler of The Pickler Law Firm is assisting Phil and his family with the sale of Bryant’s.
